Title: Tulsa short changed agian by OKC
Post by: sportyart on December 27, 2005, 08:54:21 PM
The bill that was passed by the fed house gave $30,000,000 for the I-40 Crosstown Expressway replacement in OKC, now as much as I hate to say it; I have been to OKC a number of times. The only reason they need this fund is to move the whole highway over to the south side of the "Oklahoma River" is so that they can have river front access to their downtown. Tulsa got only 6 million for the expansion of the dangerous I-44 that people DIE on. In all the projects that were passed in this bill for Oklahoma, Tulsa got $19,575,000, OKC received $32,620,000.
