Out of the gloom that surrounds city hall now comes TontoRon on his trusty Pinto with banners flying in the winds followed by the crusading councilor on his white steed and a hardy "High ho Silver." TontoRon has in his hands the keys to the closets that hold the skeletons in city hall. One would think that the premature announcement of being a candidate for mayor might attach the crusader to the whipping post to be lashed by NaySayers in the months to come. One compares this with the disk jockey that promoted a citizen crusader to defeat a standing mayor and the crusading citizen being defeated in the general election by a relative unknown. Politics in Tulsa have strange bedfellows.
