The stretch of Peoria between 5th pl and 6th street, east side of the road has had a lot of the existing building stock cleared out over the last few years with what seems like the last of it within the last month.
I heard an unsubstantiated rumor about a large apartment building there, but haven't heard anything official. Anyone know anything?
It's supposed to be a pretty great looking 5-story apartment complex. They've been delayed getting parking ironed out. Permit was issued 11/14/2025 but it lapsed because of unpaid fees. Don't know status beyond that.

Earlier this year they went through and closed an alleyway through there. I think that would mean that they are ticking through some boxes.
