Old Penn Station (//%22http://www.trainweb.org/rshs/VD%20-%20Penn%20Station%202.htm%22) demoed in 1966:

New Penn Station (//%22http://www.nydailynews.com/news/local/story/329448p-281556c.html%22), to look like the old, to cost $818 Million.

There's a nearly billion dollar case for historic preservation!  Think Tulsans will snap out of it?

Another Tulsa connection:  it will be called Daniel Patrick Moynihan Station, after a famous Tulsan.
