Title: New Google Maps views of Tulsa just arrived
Post by: Tulsasaurus Rex on May 26, 2015, 11:11:29 AM
Must have happened sometime over the weekend. You can clearly see the East Village filling in (https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1574601,-95.9846355,381m/data=!3m1!1e3) with Hogan Assessments and the Urban 8 under construction.  One Place Tower and Fairfield Inn are no longer rubble heaps.

Happy Exploring.

You can even see the Roughnecks field outline at ONEOK Field.    Updated indeed!

Lots of blue tarps on roofs from the tornado a couple of weeks ago.

3D view has arrived in a two-mile wide swath of West Tulsa from the Botanical Gardens, to Gilcrease, to West O' Main, to Berry Hill, to Red Fork, to the Oaks and Page Belcher golf courses, to Polecat Creek. Weird stretch; wonder why.  Hopefully more to come.

Guessing they took off from Richard Jones, then went up and down that stretch a couple of times to get the required pictures for processing

If God had intended for man to live in mobile homes, he wouldn't have invented tornados.

Puts into perspective how bad the sight lines are for a match too.

Almost all of Tulsa just became 3-D. But they have gone backwards in time.  Now you can no longer see many new construction projects like the Urban 8, Hogan Assessments, etc.
