(Tulsa, OK) -- A state representative from Tulsa calls on voters to ask candidates for local and state office whether they support fundamental property rights of individuals. State Representative Mark Liotta says voters should add a new criteria when choosing candidates for any level of government, such as whether they oppose a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that expands the ability of local governments to seize property through eminent domain. Liotta says a legislative fix to the court ruling will be less than a year away, so the ballot box may be the first chance Oklahomans have to protect their property rights.
