This morning my stepson found 2 Thousand Dollars in a rental car at his work. He details cars. This is a 20 year old young man that is very trusting and tries to do the right thing. And I am proud to say that he did. The owner of the money was called back to the dealership and offered him a reward. He refused it saying that he was happy with the man's reaction getting his money back. The gentleman said he was up all night trying to remember where he had left it. We need more young people like him in this World of negative news. And yes I'm bragging. I have been in his life for over ten years and I know his heart is pure gold.
Kudos to your stepson.
Bravo! So few and far between do we here about this.
Good job. The kid is alright.
A prince in a world of thieves. Or something like that.
Great kid, Dolfan!
It's those moments that make parenthood all worthwhile.
Returning the money was a great standup thing to do. He was raised right.
(Although you have to wonder about him when he refused the reward.)

You have raised a tremendous child (and obvious republican). :P
That is very good. You have a right to brag! :)

Agreed. A real Republican. Not this crazed Oklahoma smile.
I was looking for that $2,000.
I love it when people do the right thing, for the right reasons. Life will be good to him if he holds on to those principles when times are tough for him.
Another story of good parenting, obviously.
You have a good kid. Be proud.
Thank you gentlemen. I contacted every news station to see if they would like to report a feel good news story for once. And so far...."Crickets" ???
Edit: Not 10 minutes after I posted this. Rico Bush with KJRH 2 news called and wants to talk with him. I'm glad he will get the chance to tell his story.
Double Edit: Well my stepson's job will not let him do the interview. I'm at a loss with that decision. But they have the final say. Thanks again guy's for all the great comments.

Maybe if you mentioned how the 2K had to do with the botched execution...

Exactly. We'd never hear the end of it. :D
Might be that two thousand went missing in Benghazi, all of it in fifteen dollar bills with Sara Pallin's portrait on the front.
As I see it the execution was not botched, it got the job done, if anything was botched it was the failure to execute the other guy and the botched long wait on death row. Next time use the firing squad.
