According to MSNBC's Chuck Todd, the Obama presidency is over. . . and with more scandals than one can adequately keep up with, the final question is, how will it end?
President Obama's approval rating has dropped to 41 percent, a majority of Americans disapprove of his handling of foreign policy issues, he has lost support from the Hispanic community and Americans actually think his administration is less competent than the Bush White House post-Hurricane Katrina, according to a new survey from the Wall Street Journal and NBC News.
In short, the poll is nothing but bad news for the president.
The survey would appear to be so bad, in fact, that NBC News' Chuck Todd said Tuesday that the poll basically means the public has declared the Obama presidency to be over.
"This poll is a disaster for the president," Todd said. "You look at the presidency here: Lowest job rating, tied for the lowest; lowest on foreign policy. His administration is seen as less competent than the Bush administration, post-Katrina."
"On the issue of do you believe he can still lead? A majority believe no. Essentially the public is saying your presidency is over," Todd added.
How will it end? With him pocketing the White House China and some embroidered bath robes prior to leaving in a taxi on Jan. 20 2017.
Shaking the hand of his successor at the end of his term and a new career of $500K per speaking engagements.
The scandal hunting has been sad.
"The President didn't personally oversee security at every embassy and consulate!"
"An IRS employee has been accused of abusing her position to target political groups... And she is the employee or a subordinate of the guy that Obama retained (with thr permission of congress).
"Obama stuck to the legally binding treaty signed by George Bush and withdrew troops from Iraw. Now it is going to hell!"
"Russia is being jerks and taking territory they claim as theirs, just like they did in Georgia when Bush was president. So.. Obama!"
"You traded prisoners for a soldier, you were supposed to say no so we could claim you hate the troops..."
Scandal!
Same BS the democrats did to GW in retaliation for Clinton. Let's save the outrage until an actual scandal hits (find out some accusation is most likely true).
Here's one way I guess it ends.

That could be interesting....that whole lawsuit thing might actually put a muzzle on all parties involved. That could only be a good thing.
Especially, since in every single instance that is being quoted by the extremist right as a justification to try to throttle Obama has been done 5 times or 10 times as much by his direct predecessor. Things like signing statements. Executive orders. Embassy killings. All those "evil things" - Bush did MUCH more. And Reagan even MORE than either of those. Clinton was in the middle somewhere. I wonder if people in Oklahoma can understand actual facts...?
Even something as simple as running wars - Obama followed through with winding down Iraq and got out combat troops out on schedule. Stopped the killing of our kids and squandering of wealth in Iraq. Even caught the chief architect of evil, when Baby Bush prove inadequate - taking about two years to do what Bush couldn't get done in 7 + years.
And deficits - instead of taking a $300 billion surplus and turning it into a $1.9 trillion addition to the national debt, like Bush did, Obama has presided over taking that last Bush budget and seeing the annual shortfall reduced every year since he was inaugurated...cutting it roughly in half by the end of his first term....just like he said he would. Now we are under $500 billion estimated additional debt for 2014. About 1/4 of where it started. I can understand how reality can really suck for the Murdochians and Koch-heads.
Facts - however interesting - are irrelevant.

QuoteAll that sweaty cycling can kick up a lot of carbon dioxide—right? So said House Republican Ed Orcutt in an email as he defended a bike tax proposed for Washington state, reports the Seattle Bike Blog. Writing a constituent, Orcutt wrote that bicyclists emit more CO2 than car drivers due to "increased heart rate and respiration." Orcutt later backed down, Seattle Bike Blog reports, calling his statement "over the top" and "not one which should enter into the conversation regarding bicycles." But this slice of his original email is still worth the read:
"Also, you claim that it is environmentally friendly to ride a bike. But if I am not mistaken, a cyclists [sic] has an increased heart rate and respiration. That means that the act of riding a bike results in greater emissions of carbon dioxide from the rider. Since CO2 is deemed to be a greenhouse gas and a pollutant, bicyclists are actually polluting when they ride." Click on the Seattle Bike Blog to go deeper into the bike-tax debate, or see BikePortland's comparison of CO2 emissions from bicyclists and other modes of transportation.
