QuoteMonica Lewinsky, the woman with whom then-President Bill Clinton had an affair that led to his impeachment, is airing her regrets and a side of the story she's kept to herself for more than 15 years.
Lewinsky, in an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair magazine, breaks her silence, calling her relationship with Clinton "consensual" though her boss "took advantage."

Wonder what her candidacy will be.
She'll probably deny being a witch too.
QuoteOne is simply clearing the air. "I am determined to have a different ending to my story," she tells the mag. "I've decided, finally, to stick my head above the parapet so that I can take back my narrative and give a purpose to my past."
In other words: "I'm broke"
Now wait, didn't she get in trouble for playing with the president's parapet?

This will probably bring out the other Clenis accusers.

I wonder why they're using this for this election cycle instead of paying her to do this for the 2016 elections when Clinton will be on the ballot.
The way I understand it, the GOP has the 2014 elections wrapped up.

I think her credit line dried up, and the cigar bar failed so she needs cash now, not 2016.

LOL! Her presence doesn't' hurt Hillary, it helps her. Without her, Hillary would have just been another first lady with a failed social program. The Lewensky scandal put her in the spotlight and launched her political career. Lewensky motivates people to view Hillary as a victim, and victimhood is liberal capital.
I'm willing to bet this is very well planned and will ultimately culminate in a meeting between the two where Lewensky endorses Hillary for president, and the media goes wild over her level of grace, compassion, and forgiveness.
Lets just keep an eye on this.
I have read the same sort of political tea leave reading Gassy, but I simply cannot get past that Hillary (if she is a victim) is still married to her assailant. And that she blamed everything on some vast right wing conspiracy. And ol' Clenis will be back in the news, as will all of the baggage he brings, and this gem:
Carlos Danger on steroids.
Wait! I think that's the ghost of Vince Foster moaning from somewhere off stage.

I thought that's what JG Wentworth was for.

What was old is now new again...
I heard an interesting take on this from Kirsten Powers (former Clinton staffer) on this Lewinsky matter that made me think. She got demonized, publicly humiliated, and destroyed as a result of her part in the affair, and Clinton is a well-respected international leader. Not much justice for a woman caught up in a sex scandal with a married man is there.

That's how political spin works. Whoever gets the most believers wins.
I don't feel sorry for Monica Lewinsky. She was an adult, the act was consensual, and she was probably the aggressor. She is the one who kept the dress with the stain on it (how weird is that?).
I also don't feel bad for Bill Clinton either. He was married and knew he was being watched, but has so little self control that he deserved the impeachment for lying.
This sort of sums up my feelings on Lewinsky:
And I have insensitively joked about this too.
