It appears this periodical may not see 2014 either.
It will be sad to see it gone. I wrote a few pieces for them and had a good relationship with the editor, though I never met her.

That probably goes to their biggest problem - no one ever heard of them. I never did either.

Me neither. Hell, I didn't even know Tulsa's river had an "edge".
Yet there are others that still survive.

Apparently River's Edge did not identify with a specific market segment and deliver an attractive marketing opportunity to advertisers.
I also wrote an article for them.
My mother wrote a long series for them on the Arkansas River. I highly recommend it for those who follow Tulsa history.

I enjoyed reading it, I guess the publication just ran out steam or money. To those who don't know this was a free publication about the area around the river and the jogging trail and about events going on such as the Belly Dancers at the 41st street park. I was looking for the new issues but they never came out. :-X
