We already do this:

Garfield County voters approved a measure Tuesday that will allow restaurants and bars to sell alcoholic drinks on Sundays.

The measure passed during a special election with 4,089 people, or 68.7 percent, in favor of the proposition and 1,863, or 31.3 percent, against.

Wouldn't package stores have to be statewide?

I'd think, otherwise there would be a huge smootstorm.

I do have some Bourbon for you Conan. Bought it on a Sunday in Louisville Kentucky at a Trader Joe's.

It is made by Bulleit, a brand of bourbon that has been around since 1830. Your bottle is not that old (10 years).

It was recommended by old time TulsaNow poster wevus.

That's the only bourbon I drink as well (Bulleit).  Love the oldstyle look and cork stopper.  Smoother than any bourbon I've had in quite some time.

Bulliet is distilled in the same distillery as Four Roses.  Both pretty good whiskeys.  I prefer the Bulliet Rye Whiskey over the Bourbon.

The bourbon wasn't produced for about 130 years with the latest recipe coming out in the late 90's.  It was owned by Seagrams for a while but is now owned by Diageo.  Their most famous products are Guinness, Smirnoff, Johnny Walker, Tanqueray, Bailey's and Captain Morgan.

I believe Tulsa County has the most liberal liquor laws that the state will allow. Any changes have to be made at the state level.

Then I made mention of it to Jennifer Loren's Newson6 FB page and she indicated this was a change in the law that affected liquor stores.  I think someone needs to recheck because I think Conan is correct about being at the state level.

It is liquor by the drink.  Restaurants and clubs only.

Wow, look at how progressive Enid has become. I thought they were still under prohibition.
