Why not say "3rd and Cheyenne"?

To be fair, he did say "East of Denver" and 3rd & Cheyenne is only one block east of Denver.

I should have been more accurate:

This will be on the south side of West Third between Cheyenne and Denver Avenues in the old Brickugger's space as depicted in the googlemaps capture.

From Denver Turn East on West 3rd St
From Cheyenne Turn West on West 3rd St.

Bar only, or is there something to soak up the alcohol?

Bar only from what I saw.

Basically a handcrafted cocktail bar like Valkyrie.  The bar is really cool and there are a lot of places to sit.  There are a lot of places to sit with bigger groups. The furniture that was chosen is a little all over the place.  Most of it hits their mark but a few pieces made me wonder what they were thinking.  There is one crystal ottoman.. I don't think it goes with everything else which isn't quite as flashy.

I think it will be a hit with the Typros crowd.

They are probably hoping customers will soak up some alcohol.

There is a hotel right next to it if you drink too much.  It's called the bus station.

Its on the back end of the building that is pictured above on the google street view.

Smart location, not really a lot around it now but there will be two more hotels within a block by next fall, including one across the street.

Visited Thursday evening.  Nice crowd.  Very laid back, speakeasy type atmosphere.  I would compare it to Hodges Bend over Valkryie.  They take their cocktails serious, but not life and death.  Plus, the seating is much more comfortable than Valkryie ever thought about being.

They also have a very nice back board/conference room with some AV capability and can cater food in.

You know Valkryie got new seating like 3 weeks ago?

I actually did not, was in there about a month ago.  Good for them.  Their barstools were terrible.  Love everything else about the place, but it doesn't give off a sit and stay awhile vibe.

Mixco needs some shades on the window. The setting sun will make you put on your sunglasses.

Hipsters wear their sunglasses inside anyway so that isn't a problem.
