looking for suggestions for an easy overnight excursion for my wife's birthday. We've done the price tower in Bartlesville, the Atherton in Stillwater, a B&B in the Arbuckles and those are all great but I am looking for something new. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Osage State Park has great cabins for $70 (one room) to $85 (two bedroom) per night. Reserve in advance

I did Kansas City about a month ago. There is Eureka Springs and Broken Bow. Also, as much as it pains me to say it, there is an out-of-this-world art museum in Bentonville, AR (and I'm not really an art person)

Yes to Crystal Bridges! Amazing art. Stay at the Dickson Inn in Fayetteville. :-)
Crystal Bridges would be an excellent choice and it's free! A great place to stay would be The Inn at the Mill which is right off Highway 62 before you get to Fayetteville, and a short drive to the museum. The Inn at the Mill has a 5 star restaurant attached to it (James at the Mill). Fayetteville also has some great places to visit on the square.
Eureka Springs.
