I don't think this is a repeat, but Metro Jacksonville compares Tulsa and Jacksonville and then posts a ton of pictures and description of Tulsa. Always interesting to see how others view us:

Thanks for posting this. I find it interesting that we have common "walkability" scores, and the same problem with surface parking.
On the other hand, it carries the dubious distinction of being one of the largest American cities not providing public transit seven days a week.

I was actually struck by how much better their walk scores were. There is quite a difference between a 74 and an 88.

A while ago I was able to put in an address and get a walkscore. This must be the wrong place as it only lists some cities.

The 74 is for the entire downtown as a whole. Type in "downtown Tulsa". Btw, the corner of 6th and Boston where my shop is gets an 89, not bad.

Thanks. We occasionally have internet "issues" here. When I tried earlier, it wouldn't accept a typed-in address or neighborhood.
Jacksonville & OKC have one big thing in common, they are both the largest cities area wise. I believe Jacksonville is #1 in land area and OKC is #2. I forgot how many square miles each one is with out looking it up.
