I apparently need to forward Forbes, like the other sources that say nice things about Tulsa, a link to this forum so it can learn the truth about this gawd awful, bigoted, zealot/cultist, redneck crap hole.
For me, I like the story.
edited. Gasman beat me to the punch a bit.

Young entrepreneurs are so over-rated. What we need is more gubmint jobs.
Bloomberg also recently put OKC at number 7 on the list of American boomtowns. Things are looking good for the state and I would hope to see Tulsa on the boomtown list within the next 10 years.

Won't take long before Sauer credits Mary Fallin.
I'm not too surprised at the ranking. We are a great music and entertainment state too. I think the environment here of passionate beliefs is a crucible for innovation. Kind of like the best writers coming from hellish backgrounds. ;)

Were you water-boarded as a child?
That's why I'm so creative. Yet I don't have any interest in surf boarding for some reason.

We call that Baptism in Oklahoma. ;)
My mom's first husband had been a Baptist minister and left her with two kids and no source of income cause he just couldn't take the pressure of family life. I didn't know it growing up but it explains why my parents were pretty much non aligned with religion themselves, (my dad the agnostic adopted both my siblings) yet made sure we went to a Baptist church till we were old enough to decide for ourselves. The belt is the favored child rearing technique of Baptists it seems though if they had known about waterboarding......
I became enlightened, married a Lutheran and then became one.

Not getting how an online program coming out of Stillwater equates to Tulsa being a "place to be" to build a business or grow your entrepreneurial skills? Not that I am saying Tulsa isn't a good place to be to do those things,,, with some caveats lol.
