And Star Wars is actually a true story! But not the newer movies, even crazy people don't like Jar Jar.
I've seen some crazy crap on the internet. This make Alex Jones and company look downright reasonable. Really funny too. The Onion couldn't do better.

I never liked any of the Star Warz films. That was the only movie I ever walked out on back in 1977 when the first one came out. I found it boring, the story line made no sense and it kept hopping around. My girlfriend at the time didn't like it either so after about 30 minutes or so we left.

Yes of course. You found a children's movie too complicated. Every 6-12 year old boy in America understood it immediately and thought it was the greatest movie ever made. You couldn't even follow the simplistic plot.

The great thing about Star Wars is my boys have fallen in love with the movies, all six of them. In fact, they prefer the original trilogy to the prequels.
They have requested their room be decorated in "vintage" Star Wars. I'm one proud pop. The Bluray box set is a prized possession in our home.

Aaaand I was 11 at the time. No idea how many times I went to see it. My step brothers and I were eaten up with it. Funny though to look back at the special effects and how primitive they seem now, after appearing so unbelievable back then.

Loved Star Wars. It ushered in a whole new genre of fantasy. Decades later I am enjoying sharing it with my kids.
My son has a Star Wars bed, and Darth Vader underwear, and a few scattered Chewbaccas. It seems to be something that really connects with children and adults.

I never could get intrested in Star Wars. I do like Star Trek. "Star Wars" was the only movie we ever walked out on. We went to see that film at the ShowCase Cinima in Stearling Heights, Michigan, at the time it was a new moddern multi-theater with 16 screens back in 1977, the ticket prices must have cost a pretty penney too for 1977, but cheap by todays prices. I can't remember what they were. it was not a total loss we took the popcorn along with us. :)
