Title: auto repainting
Post by: citizen72 on January 22, 2013, 01:45:04 AM
We have a 1994 Honda Accord that needs repainting. It is and will be black. Anyone know someone that does this on the side. Do not want to pay a huge amount of money and would even do it the old fashioned way without the gel coat. Very minor body damage. Any thoughts on anyone.

Does it have to be black? I find that white paint is more forgiving and when I owned a white car - a 1975 Mercury Marquis- any scratchs and scrapes could be matched up perfectly with a 88 cent can of  white spray paint  from Big Lots. I don't know if black paint can match up like that. As for who can paint  the car, it  needs to be done right otherwise it will never look good and it's not cheap. A cut-rate paint job is not worth it.
