Well for the past several months I have just left my radio here at work on 92.9 Bob FM.
Since last Wednesday they have been running commercials about the demise of Star 103.3.
That was a bad idea. Of course I couldn't just sit here and wonder what happened.
So I switched over to see what was going on and hoping they hadn't changed the format to Country.
Well they didn't. And I have been listening to them ever since. They are now ROCK 103.3 FM
This is what KMOD used to be like back in the 80s and early 90s. Check it out. See what you think.

I have been tuning in. It's got a brighter future than Commode without Phil & Brent.

Well considering it had reached the point that music I listed to at high school was on the "classic rock station" it wasn't a big change.
Apparently I'm getting old now.

Welcome. Prune slushy?
Don't ya just hate passing the 3 to 5 dollar CD basket at Wall-Mart and see the best music ever, over flowing the edges?
Been needing to fill something on my car radio where 97.5 has been.
Already gave one slot to RSU at 91.3

89.5 and 88.7 are the best we've got.
When you get to work, you can stream either and make your day so much more.

NPR(national) talk about subjects that interest me... only in a way completely devoid of energy and emotion. I'll only listen if I want to take an afternoon nap.

Haha, I like the fact that they aren't yelling in my ears.

Unlike what Spinal Tap says, you don't always have to crank it 11.

"You can't really dust for vomit"
Are we sure the BOB commercial was in regards to 103.3?
This thread had me curious, so I dusted off my FM presets..
106.1 has gone from oldies to country. Definitely a demise in my book.
I had forgotten until the other day that I had participated in a focus group for this change. Hopefully I helped make sure they'll have some good music on there.
Playlist seems a bit narrow. The terrestrial radio rock formula in this market seems to be find some gem from the past that hasnt gotten airplay in years, then play it several times a day every day until people are sick of it.
