I have been listening to some Indie rock lately and found this.
This is not what the kids are listening to these days. We are old. :P

I got a lead on this band via twitter. My jury is out, but I am interested.

This is what the kids listen to. See if you can distinguish it from rhythmic noise. ;)
Kinda made me think of
Chick Habit in parts. Or does my medication need adjusting...

I've heard that before. I have one of those "kids"...
I inflicted a couple of the grandkids with this earlier this evening.

Gotta love a beer!!
Have always been a hardcore head banging rocker, but I find myself mellowing in my old age with a wider range of tastes. I kinda like it, guido (hope that doesn't ruin it for you...). Surprises me and the kids. Or you could always go old school with 'Kick out the Jams' by MC5 (1969) - oh, yeah...language alert. Kinda sad they cut the front lead in off of the album. Different kind of "MC" - Motor City 5 - not Master of Ceremony...

Glad to know you're not brain dead. ;)
Yet.
Clairy Browne and the Banging Rackettes is interesting, too. Still haven't figured them out....
Seems like every coffee shop I go to is playing the same BOH CD.
