Title: A serious Obama supporter
Post by: custosnox on September 22, 2012, 05:47:52 PM
Should be interesting to see reactions to this when it's finished.  This guy is painting the Obama Campaign sign on his roof, and being off of 4th and Sheridan it should be nicely visible from the air on Southern approaches and departures from TUL.

I saw a Romney bumper sticker the other day. It struck me because it made me realize that it's the first one I've actually seen so far this campaign season, while I've seen several Obama 2012 stickers. It seems that, so far, enthusiasm just isn't very high among Romney supporters in my part of town.

They really don't need to be enthusiastic...Oklahoma is as red as red on the United States flag.

Me?  I won't put any any political stickers on my vehicle.  Didn't when I supported Obama back in 2008.  Too easy to have someone vandalize your car, especially in this state.  Seen it first hand.

Oklahoma's near-zero chance of going D in the presidential election didn't seem to limit the number of McCain stickers I saw around in 2008 or "W The President" stickers in 2004. (I preferred the "F The President" sticker)

I attribute that to 'the Palin factor'.

Painting a target on your roof doesn't seem too smart to me.

I don't put any stickers on my car except those that are required like license plates and inspection stickers when we had them.  I also had to put a company parking lot sticker on a few of my cars.

I'm wondering what is going to happen.  I'm sure it's going to piss off plenty of people.
