Title: CVS Jenks
Post by: SouthTulsaCountyDude on September 18, 2012, 06:06:37 PM
Jenks City councilors followed the planning commission's recommendation and approved the conditional final plat for a new CVS drug store to be built on the northeast corner of Elm Street and 101st Street.

Yay... not a bank like I had heard
Boo... yet another drug/convenience store

Meanwhile I assume the drug warehouse @ Main & Elm will go empty   (that whole development needs a facelift / bulldozing )

Caremark is the insurance plan we have for prescriptions, and got a letter a few weeks ago saying that if we used any other pharmacy than CVS, the insurance would not pay for it.  How's that for a sweet little bit of anti-trust monopolism?  (CVS and Caremark are merged.)

As one might imagine, I am so deeply endeared to both right now...

Oughta be a law....

And monopolism.

And anti-trust.
