I don't disagree with the premise, of course, since it's a well-established fact that the Republican Party is largely fact free anymore, but when someone starts making Nazi comparisons, Godwin's Law must be invoked.
Party discipline? C'mon, we're Democrats! We don't march at the orders of the party apparatus, goose-stepping like a bunch of.......well, never mind.
The chairman of the California Democratic Party has compared Republican tactics during the presidential campaign to the "big lie" strategy most famously employed by Nazi propagandists.
California Democratic chief John Burton made the remarks Monday in an interview with San Francisco station KCBS while in Charlotte for the Democratic National Convention.

I accept that you believe that but disagree.

You disagree that Romney and Ryan have both been on something of a lying spree lately?

It's not just Romney and Ryan. The right is completely detached from reality lately.

I didn't. I asked a question, which you seem to have answered in the negative, although I'm not quite sure. To me, Romney and Ryan having gone on a lying spree would indicate that the party as a whole is having trouble with facts, given that they are the nominees. Obviously, you don't agree with that generalization.

Just read that the ol' previously-scheduled root canal has shut down Herr Godwin from the DNC.
I saw the genius of one in here talk about how "detached from reality" the right is in a thread where the left has gone full Godwin.

One guy is "the left," if he's a Democrat, but oddly one guy is not "the right," if he's a Republican. He's just an a**hole who threw peanuts at a black person and called them an animal.
