Don't read the comments.  People from other parts of the country are convinced that Oklahomans are a bunch of mouth-breathing goobers, so stories like this and the comments appended to it help cement that idea in place.

Problem is, we know a lot of them ARE mouth-breathing goobers.  Unfortunately.

That's mostly due to being the allergy capital of the US and sinus blockage from those allergies.

Same town that has the "Infant Jesus of Prague" shrine.  What has that got to do with anything in the world?  Well, it's Prague.

The story was on Headline News this morning between 5 and 6AM.  I just saw the crawler at the bottom of the screen because I had the sound off.

(Left as exercise...for the casual observer.)

Actually, got that from the late night guy who has the skeleton he talks to... Craig Ferguson (?).  I would like to have a skeleton to ride with me in the truck....

She and her father were on the Today Show this morning.  I missed the body of the interview.

I did note the superintendent spelled her name wrong in his press release.

I'm assuming jealousy over her intellect.

We're also in national news because some OKC principal made a 5 year old turn his football shirt inside out due to gang relations.

Yes, because we all know how popular Michigan attire is to the gang bangers.  They recruit 'em young these days.

We don't pay our educators enough when superintendents and principals are mentally disabled.

Apparently you are only allowed to wear OU and OSU college themed clothing in Oklahoma City.

Don't really know about Michigan as a hole, but Detroit is just a gang now.
