No, it hasn't happened yet, but I think it's fairly clear that next week Mitt will choose Dr. Condoleezza Rice as his running mate.
IF that happens we should expect a spectacular response from President Obama's attack machine. I mean, it's not like he has any accomplishments he wants to tout.

...and there's the whole never-been-married thing with ominous implications for the nuttier than thou crowd.
I seem to recall that Rice was a voice opposed to some of the extreme ideas from the Cheney/Rumsfeld crowd, and they hated her for it.

us, it doesn't matter, Michael. There isn't a gay or straight way of doing law enforcement - the purpose of the executive branch. The fundies will be up in arms, and the tea party types....well, they're not known for rational behavior either.
Still, it could be an interesting contest. The uber-right doesn't like or trust Mitt to begin with, and if he adds a gay, pro-choice black woman as VP, look for them to split from the Republican party after he loses.
Oh, The Villages. The only retirement community I've ever had the pleasure of visiting that has worse traffic than most major cities. I gather it's more tolerable if you have a golf cart. Also, their architectural review committee needs to have their eyes examined.

It's just amazing how when conservatives start a conversation about a candidate it relates to their experience and expertise, and when liberals engage in that same conversation it immediately becomes a discussion of some group dynamic such as sex, sexual preference, racial makeup, and academic credentials. Experience and track record is the last thing they consider.

No, we're just smart enough to understand that every single one of these candidates has experience in fraud and/or a track record of carrying water for tax evaders. After that realization, there's not much to talk about other than silly stuff.
There is another difference. Obama went to a private college. Romney refuses to show his business with the government. I think it would be different if Obama had gone to a government owned school.
