I know watering at night is a no no but I was wondering if it was an acceptable thing during times of 100+ heat so the water has time to soak in instead of evaporating.
Am I still risking fungus?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Gaspar will probably disagree, but I've never had fungus problems with Bermuda, only fescue. I water the Bermuda moring or night and can't find any signs of fungus. Lesson learned though with a fescue lawn where I used to live, only water that in the AM. I'm doing my Bermuda "stations" every other day at 1 hour each. Fescue seems to be okay with 30-45 minutes daily.
Morning. Longer time for each episode, fewer episodes per week.

I do every morning at about 6:30 for 15 mins. For the recent heat I have also added a 15min period at around 2pm just to cool things down a bit. By the time I get home at 5:30 everything is dry but the soil is still a bit moist. This heat sucks! Damn that global weirding.

Right now I'm running 30 minutes on each zone 3 times a week.
Some of the bermuda is still taking a beating.

I'd bump it to 45 on that schedule or go to an every day or every other day schedule.

I've loaded up his tunnels with Talprid worms. It's just hard to know if their working because his tunnels became so prolific so quickly. I ran him out last fall with same tactic, but now he's back.

Fescue will always brown in this heat. If you are lucky, it might come back....
Only real cure is get rid of the trees and plant bermuda.
I have had some luck in shade with both Zoysia and buffalograss. Neither are really ideal, but both do better than bermuda in the shade.

Don't go by time, go by depth of water in soil. 6". In the extension document, page 2.
