But I got a lot of expenses. This look don't come cheap.
yep, I'm poor alright.
Your wage is $1,009. The world average is $1,480.
Your wage is 31% of the United States average and 68% of the world average.
Those blue bars on the left get so small.
Your wage is 6% of the United States average and 14% of the world average.
Man, I'd kick donkey in one of the stans.
I have a seven figure income. Unfortunately, there is a decimal point involved.

Do you need some help?

It's built in. It prices non-US wages in 'PPP dollars', which reflect differences in the cost of living.

Only if you have a lead on a job that will be willing to work around my school and kids schedule and my honor society travels.

That is beyond my capabilities to help, sorry about that. I am just a cog in the works and am fortunate to have the job I do. Hopefully your efforts at education will eventually remedy your situation.

I would suggest taking any government help that is available (that is, after all, what it's there for), but you might get burned at the stake as a heretic, this being Oklahoma. ;)

Well, being the BBC, I think the point of the article was to inform. Not very great as an anti-USA thing, since we're not even the country with the highest average wage.

Not so much specifically anti-USA so much as anti-top 25% or so.

How is it anti-anything? It's merely reporting the facts.
