They took the fences down and I am so impressed. It is truly a both great collection of art and a gathering place better than any other spot in all of downtown. It fits within the space perfectly, add seating for a hundred people, and transitions the connection between the man-made and the natural elements of Williams Green. It is whimsical in nature, but adds beautiful stone to project gravitas.
Thank you Tulsa Rotary. This is such a wonderful gift.
I can only imagine.
I am sorry I didn't take any pictures. I am also poor at knowing how to post them.
Somebody bail me out and go take some pics and post them. It is supposed to be gorgeous at night.
Location?
How long before skateboarders have it torn up?
I had family in town over the weekend and they enjoyed the new plaza. The kids especially, they could run and climb and asked questions about what the statues were about.

They should slap one of those globes on top of the Philtower. It reminds me of that picture.

"Pshaw"? Were you a hipster in the 1800s?

I don't comb my hair back off my forehead.
So...lots of good banter here ... but any pics of the new plaza in the thread title?
I saw the rotary plaza today and it looks good. More sculptures and art in public spaces is a good thing.
