Title: The lights are back on!
Post by: Ed W on January 19, 2012, 06:18:50 AM
Welcome back from yesterday's blackout.  In truth, I kinda missed this.

The SOPA/PIPA protests seem to be working.  More of our congresscritters, including the bill's sponsors, are coming out against the idea of stifling free speech.  Imagine that.

They must have gotten some of their own free speech stifled.

Kudos admin.  For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of TNF. ;)

Man, I actually got work done yesterday between TNF and Wikipedia being out. Oh well, scratch that. Maybe we can have a weekly outage, say 12 hours on Wednesdays or something? ;)

Did you hear the black helicopters flying over your neighborhood last night?

Wow, I guess you are right.
I dont know what got into my head after midnight last night.  I could have sworn someone was ranting about an insane government conspiracy to censor the Internet,
That if their diabolical plans came to fruition that sites like this could no longer exist,
That internet sites were one by one going black,
crazy stuff...

What utter disregard for authority these crackpots must have,
and how they must hate the government to accuse them of such a thing.

I was too busy following everything on Twitter and newsfeeds to have time to do anything else.

Since Wikipedia was down, I had people turn to me for information. I also know everything. I am calling it Mike-ipedia.

That sounds like copyright infringement. I'm going to tell on you.
