Up until the fireworks downtown, all the celebration I was hearing was gunfire.
Geez, people, it's not Iraq.  That flying lead has to fall back to Earth somewhere.

Kinda scary.  Sold my grandmother's house earlier this year..well, my mother's older sister handled most of that.  When I mentioned about hearing all the gunfire over the New Year, she told me when they inspected the house before selling, they found a slug in the roof.

This ain't Libya people.  Wow.

I heard six gun shots from a block or two away on NYE this year.  I never figured out who it was, though I've got my suspicions.  A few years back I heard the distinct crack of 10 rounds coming out of an SKS about a mille or so off.  Just hope they were firing into the dirt.

I think Iraq may be a little quieter.

I thought about shooting a few rounds this year, but the fusillade started before I could act, so just sat inside listening to the surrounding sound effects.  Reminded me of Valley Brook (Southeast OKC)!!
