Hey guys/gals,
I am trying to piece together 25ish great places to shop in town. Problem is I am not in town until next weekend at the earliest. So what are your favorite local shops? I would like this list to be geared towards gifts, but general shopping is good too.
Also what are the hours for the pop up shops downtown?
Not sure what kind of gifts you're looking for but my wife digs:
- Ribbons on Peoria
Perfect Touch on the SE corner of 91st and Yale
Canterbury Lane on 101st and Yale
Tapestry of Faith at 41st and Peoria
Those are boutiquey though.
Lambrusco'z has a great selection of gift items — jewelry, scarves, kitchen gadgets, decorative items, lotions, candles and wacky stuff you won't find elsewhere.

I've been shopping The Gadget Company at 15th and Boston. Lots of neat stuff for manly men.

Nah, I'm allergic to Sudafed ;)
FMC and I are putting together spice and coffee or tea baskets using products from Spiceology in the Farm and coffee or tea as well as balsamic vinegars and infused EVOO from Mecca Coffee.
Steve's Sundry's for the literate on your gift list.
If Great Harvest in the Farm comes back, it would be very nice for bread related items.
Mary Beth at Dwelling spaces has lots of "ok-centric" stuff like Golden Driller and Blue Whale ornaments.
And there is a MIO - Made In Oklahoma shop on 41st north of Woodcraft, across from Ricardo's. Limited items, but some kind of neat. We go there once in a while just to see what's new. Got the "I survived the summer of 2011" t-shirt there a couple weeks ago. Too much money, though.
Also, the first place I found the 3 Guys Smokin' sauce - before Reasor's - bought the Razz.
Some give all year long and not just material stuff. ;)
