I used to work with a guy who enjoyed tweeting and going online to forums to make those kinds of remarks. He didn't really care about anything he posted about, just enjoyed playing the boor. He and his friends got some kind of perverse enjoyment comparing their shock reactions.

Classy.
Having issues within my extended family in the past that made the news, smarta$$ comments like that have a special way of making you mad. Even more so when you know you can't react because that's just what they want.
Not any worse than the osu fan that said Landry should take a handful of pills...

One is referencing multiple tragedies where others have died, and one of them has an actual source. So I say it's worse.
Are you referring to this forum post?
" You know that would be like one of our fans saying "hey Stills and Landry ya'll going to go over dose on pills"...come on seriously..that isn't even funny to joke about.... "

If you don't know twitter, if somebody mentions you there is a special thread which shows who is talking about/to you. So if you wanted to respond to a fan or something like that this would show up with the others regardless of if you "followed" this person or not (if mentioned).

I certainly wouldn't call this guy an OU fan. This is about as cowardly and tasteless of a remark that anyone can make. He cetainly has no empathy for those who lost love ones and friends in the plane crash. This sounds as though someone is trying to get a Bedlam war going--I would be so sure that this guy is a fan of either OU or OSU.
