"Natural gas company Williams Cos. Inc. said Thursday its first-quarter profit jumped 20 times higher than a year ago, thanks to increased production, greater sales volume and higher natural gas prices.
The Tulsa-based producer and transporter announced unaudited net income of $201.1 million, or 34 cents per share on a diluted basis, compared with a net earnings of $9.9 million, or 2 cents a share, a year ago."
