For the first time in several years, I'm actually serving candy.  I'm enjoying the evening breeze out on my driveway with some Spaten Oktoberfest dressed like a bandido.  Though I don't guess proper bandidos surf the internet on a Macbook :P

That's funny Grizz! I wrapped a bandanna around my head and told people I was the leader of the "Occupy 19th Street" Movement and would welcome donations. Got some candy.

We were swamped with kids. Truckloads of kids from who knows where. Great fun. 650 by 8:30 when we ran out.

Wow! I bet I had 20 to 25 from 6:30 to 8:20.  I think I had one right after 8, so about 8:15 I figured if there wasn't a second wave, I was going to pack it in by 8:30.  We have a lot of kids in the hood so I'm surprised we didn't see more.

There's not too many little kids in the neighborhood and two of our neighbors were away.  Still, I expected more than zeeeero.  Oh well.  Even on a "good" year we rarely get more than a half dozen or so.
