What a doosh.
Didn't we have a similar gun nut show up here and accuse everyone who disagreed with him of being some sort of liberal-commie-pinko-socialist-atheist-whatever? I seem to recall recommending that it wasn't a good business practice to cut out a large segment of potential customers.
So, G, are you posting this as merely informative, or are we to assume that you feel some sort of kinship with this guy?

No. I just thought that it was so outrageously stupid it would garner a chuckle.
So perhaps we should tar all gun owners with this overly broad brush. Let's see...this guy represents the outrageous stupidity inherent in both conservatives and gun owners, a mindset with a worldview that extends as far as the TV set on the other side of his living room. All gun nuts are like him.....
...wait a minute...
I own and shoot guns too, so that would mean....
Never mind.

What a doosh.
It's his business putting the training class together and he can refuse the right to serve anyone he wants, and his comments, albeit outlandish, are protected under the first amendment.

While I posted that video as a joke, I find it interesting that "Mr. First Amendment" Nathan would not respect this gun shop owner's rights rather than just name call. You know, there has been dooshes-a-plenty at OWS but Nathan stands right up for them.

When I first heard it, my thought was "typical Texan" and just laughed. Gotta have a sense of humor if you want to survive in this life. ;D

He's a doosh because he clearly doesn't think that people who disagree with him politically shouldn't have the same rights as he does. Moreover, his supposed justification of liberals being anti-gun is complete bullshit. You might note that Obama has done exactly nothing to promote further gun control laws.
dbacks, sure, he has the right to serve anybody he doesn't want to serve as long as he's not discriminating against protected classes because they are members of said class. Luckily, I still have the right to call him a doosh for acting the fool. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, not freedom from consequences.

There's my entire point about OWS. They trash public property or break laws while exercising their rights, the consequence should be they pick up after themselves or go to jail.

Ahh, and Crocket doesn't want to teach "Moslems" either. Didn't catch if he said "A-rab" or not.
Yep and the gun dealers at gun shows made out like bandits from right before the Nov. '08 election for about a year and a half. They were about the only ones promising stricter gun control out of Obama. They love it when Democrats get elected to the WH, it's high profit time for them.

As in respect this gun owner's rights rather than just name call....
Well, I guess I might as well join you three in your name calling...to me, he sounded like the typical outrageously stupid doosh Texan....
He absolutely has the right to be as much all that as he wants. And he is on my list of people to never do business with.
I am curious about his comments about never teaching a Muslim in his class. I would bet money on the fact that he is a big fan of George Bush, and Bush, by proxy through Rumsfeld, is the one person in the world who has trained more Muslims to fire guns (the Iraqi security forces - 400,000 +) than any other single person in history. And he refuses to continue the tradition?? Inconsistent logic.

You forgot Cheney. ;)
Are you including Bush Sr.'s time as CIA head when we trained and outfitted Osama bin Laden in the 80's? He seemed like such a nice guy.....

Cheney wasn't Secretary of Defense, but he was probably closely involved. Maybe more than George....
George Sr trained smaller groups. He hired people like Bin Laden and Manuel Noriega and let them train their people. Still didn't come close to 400,000 + that we trained in Iraq during early 2000's.
