CNN at least hasn't confirmed the reports of his death. That will change soon, though, I'm sure.

The cell phone photo sure looked like him. BUT, there have been doctored images of OBL in the past also...this just seemed a little less staged.
Is this another foreign policy coup for the Obama administration? How come those Teabagging GOP obstructionists are not out there countering POTUS Obama's lack of international leadership? Could Herman Caint , Mitt or Rikity do better with no experience in foreign politics....oh yea, neither did BO .... maybe it's just Hillary?
cnn confirmed
Castro is keeping his head down in mouth shut....Qaddafi chose not to and got his shot off.....
I'm thinking the next two in line are Kim Jong-il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

I like the punishment fits the crime scenario for these guys. Kim should be starved to death and forced to eat grass for sustenance like his people. Mahmoud should be forced to listen to Al Sharpton address the United Nations for 48 straight hours while the rest of the world ignores them both, then, remove Sharpton, give him a gun with one bullet and lock the door.

Awesome....!!!!!
See, I'm just not feelin' the love today BB.
As far as Castro, he probably has more support in Cuba than the others have had. He couldn't afford to kill off large numbers of his people whenever they didn't behave though he occassionally opened the prison gates and put them on boats for Miami.
His punishment therefore is not as severe. Assuming his throat cancer from those most excellent Cubans hasn't gotten him, he will be invited for lunch with the last remaining Kennedy at a quaint little Cuban restaurant. During the meal Mr. Kennedy will excuse himself to the men's room where he retrieves a gun taped behind the toilet.......
While this scenario took a long time to play out, this is the inevitable conclusion. I wish they had not resorted to putting a bullet in his head.. There are several weapons cashes that may never be discovered by NATO forces before they reach the hands of other factions.
NATO flew around 13,000 sorties to bring down this man and those loyal to him. The Obama administration deserves some serious admiration for managing this effort well through NATO, without the causing the war-fatigued american public too much angst. I was critical of our method of involvement at the beginning, but I was obviously very wrong.

Let's be glad we have a strategic warrior in the WH and not some nut job who was tortured and promising to send troops everywhere....

Actually, I do give President Obama kudos on his military record so far. Libya could have become a quagmire. Let's just hope setting up the puppet regime proves easier than it did in Iraq.
That said, people like Louis Farrakkan are not happy with him about his killing record.

Louis Farrakhan is really upset that the millions of dollars he's been getting from Gadhafi are over.

There's your sign! If Farrakhan is unhappy, then whatever the topic is, we are doing exactly right on it.
Khaddafi should have had the luxury of a trial..... ;)
I was actually waiting for the rebels to march through the streets with his head on a stick as proof that he was dead.
