Title: What is the best and worst building downtown?
Post by: jacobi on October 15, 2011, 07:20:54 PM
Over the years, my opinion of different styles of architecture found downtown has changed alot.  I've learned to appreciate some of the monolithic 'planet of the apes' style in addition to the no-brainer of the art deco.  So I have a question for everybody,

What is your favorite building downtown? Least?  What lessons do you think we shoud take from their successes and failures?

Mine is the Mcfarlin.  (I know it's small.  I'm a sucker for balconies) and my least is the SWB building.  You know, the one with almost no wondows.  It's worse than the abundant life building.

Abundant Life needs a couple of boxes of tnt and a couple of Cat D9's to clear it away. Kennedy or NBT for my favorites.
