Incumbent Rick Wescott chose not to run
Republicans Nancy Lynne Rothman, Matthew Foster, Judith Adams and Jeannie Cue face off Tuesday. The winner faces Democrat Phillip Edward Oyler in the general. thoughts?
Rothman - NO. Hell no, even.
Matthew Foster - maybe
Judith Adams - probably not
Jeannie Cue - I'd like to say yes...but...I am not happy with her position on the trash collection issue (she's in the "if it ain't broke" camp). She has, however, asked for my opinion and I hope I can change her mind. I DO like the fact that she is a lifelong westsider. She is a 1972 graduate of Webster.
Rumor has it that Karl Ahlgren dropped Rothman as a candidate after all of the bad press came out about her.
On a separate note, I like our trash servise just the way it is.
Matthew Foster is associated with this group, for what it's worth:

What are your reasons?
I think he should win just for the potential 9-ball/cue jokes that could be levied against city council.

You thought Jeannie Cue was a man? :o
I have been messaging with Jeannie Cue on Facebook sharing with her my views on the trash issue.
I guess this is my litmus test issue and I now feel more comfortable in giving her my vote.
I have also spoken to her about trash issues.
I like her. I like her work on revitalizing Red Fork. I think she will make a good councilor if she wins.
