I know it's a chain and on 71st, but it's still nice to see someone new coming to town. They seem to specialize in large power tools and things like generators. Sign says they open this month.

That's a good add for us. Northern Tool is somewhat like Harbor Freight, just better quality stuff. At least from what I saw in the store I happened to visit in Virginia

Unless the pricing is the same for said better quality stuff, I don't see the point (other than competition). The entire purpose of Harbor Freight is to sell you cheap stuff that you only buy because you plan to use it once or twice. If I wanted stuff that would last, I wouldn't go to Harbor Freight, Home Depot, or Lowe's.
I guess I shouldn't complain about another source of $12 orbital sanders, but here I am doing it.
That's a weird place for a tool store.

It looked to me that this was larger stuff and little/nothing in the way of unpowered hand tools. No $3 hammers.
Northern tool has some quality stuff......
