Wife and I would like to rent a camper van or the smallest dually framed camper for a 2 week trip out to the west coast.
Anyone have one they'd be willing to rent to us? We'd probably go a max of 5,000 miles
TIA
would this kind of van work?

Likely due to insurance issues, you are going to be hard-pressed to rent or borrow from an individual unless it's a close family member or someone you've known for years. Unless you are wanting to camp in national parks and places like that, it might be cheaper to rent an econobox and stay in motels.
Blarg... I'm just not finding a market for small rentals.
I guess our best bet would be to invite the inlaws to help w/ the cost (and make more memories).
4 adults an 1 kiddo. Hmmmmmmm.
Yeah, the big RVs aren't terribly expensive to rent if you can spread the cost around some. A bit much to take the cost on solo, though.
Okay, here's the latest version. I think this is a heck of a lot more relaxing

Seven days in a camper with the in-laws?
You are a better man than me, Mike.
Someone say camper van?
And I agree with RM, Mike. I wouldn't last (biting my tongue). :D
Those vans burn alot of fuel.
