Anyone have it done?
Got someone to recommend?
Is it a good way to go?
I've heard several people recommend this, I have no personal experience with it. FMC was considering it then realized all she really needs to do is de-gloss the old paint and repaint her cabinets and put a new overlay on the countertops.

That's what I will do with the old home. Trying to juggle issues with a proposed new home.
Thanks for the rec.
It's a big job for a do-it yer-selfer, the best thing to do is hire out for a pro.
Townsend, I think Agee is the name of the company which advertises re-facing on KRMG. Something like Agee countertops and re-facing.

Yeah, it's Agee. Nice guy. From what I can tell he does a good job. We see him at most of the home shows. I was tempted to get a price from him when we bought our new house, but I just ended up stripping and finishing them myself. I don't recommended that!
The process for refinishing is patented and I think he's the only one in the area with a franchise. I just looked it up on HBA website and he's the only one listed there too.
Thanks Conan and Gaspar. I appreciate the info
