This is a wonderful camp and fishing spot just below the Tenkiller Dam on what is called the lower Illionois River. The water that comes out of the dam is very cold and one of the few places in Oklahoma that can offer trout fishing.
The lake is getting so high that the dam is opening up the gates wider and wider. If there is anymore than an inch or two of rain on Saturday, the Corps will have to open the auxilary gates which will wash away the entire camp.
