Adam was at Elote yesterday...the show will air in June.
What kind of 5+ pounds of food challenge do they have there? Or was it another heat challenge?
I think he had to finish a luchadore in 20 minutes

We'll see. I've got a 70-90 mile training ride tomorrow out in the hills NW of town. I'll check with FMC on her interest level and we'll see how much leg I've got left after that.

I know Kyle. Poor guy. I love spicy food but insane challenges which require a milk enema the day after? I'll pass.

Oh that's just nasty.
Today the TV crew went to Bill's Jumbo Burgers.
As many of you have heard from me, I think they make the best burgers in town.
Nice to see the TV crew agrees.

Wow. How many episodes will Tulsa have shown ?
From what he wrote it sounds like they just went there for lunch ;)
I'm just surprised with all the crime and violence downtown + no parking + nothing to do they shot a frame there.
Why didn't they go out South? A conundrum indeed.

Zing!
They got lost heading south because they kept seeing the same Shoe CVS/Cricket/Cartridge world stores over and over and gave up...
Am watching Man vs. Food Nation. The Firefighter won! I suspect everyone already knew that...
Now that is some serious self abuse!

Jeez, ghost chili sauce. That's pain. Scoville overload...
I wouldn't mind trying the 72 oz steak. I know I could have eaten that in 1972. Probably not today, though.

Well I haven't watched the episode yet, but thanks for the spoiler.
Ironically, in regards to the thread title, Elote was completely missing from the episode.
They shot for two episodes while they were here. Elote is part of their Rt. 66 episode, which will air later in the season.
That episode is unique in that it doesn't target a city, but places along the Mother Road.
Great job on camera, Blake. Must have been fun to hang out with Adam.

Surprised I didn't see Grizz anywhere in the crowd.
I understand they we will be doing a Rt 66 episode and Elote will be featured. Forget that they aren't on Route 66.

I know I already gave you a shout out on the avatar. That is off the charts funny.
When it is aired, it can hardly be spoiled...
But always glad to help!!
The episode featuring Elote will air on August 24th.
thanks rdj will be sure to watch it!
Tulsa did very well in the Rt. 66 episode. Ted Drew's frozen custard in St. Louis and a steakhouse in California were on the episode, but the Elote and its puffy tacco contest was featured for at least half the episode. A shot of Adam in front of the blue whale was used coming out of several commercial breaks.
