Saw them at Cain's before the renovations.
Warm night + no AC = super hot inside. Was an amazing show.
Definately worth seeing.

Any chance you remember which song Grohl ad-libbed about how hot it was?
That was my one crowd-surf experience just after I poured a beer over my head to keep from melting. Man it was warm in there.

Thanks. I've told that story without remembering the song.
Anyway, amazing night.
i have a copy of the show that i downloaded from a torrent site. i don't remember which one now, probably dimeadozen. i converted it to aac (which, if you are an audiophile, is a no-no, i know) if you want a copy.
My absolute favorite song of the Foo...

I was there too at the Cains that night in July 1997. It was about 100 degrees with no AC and Dave Grohl said that if he were in the audience he would go home. I also remember the drummer had to go to the bathroom in the middle of their show. I remember hearing that they were never going to come back to Tulsa. I saw them at the Ford Center last time they came and they put on a good arena show.
Got tickets this morning via pre-sale. Got some for myself, my brother, his wife and their teenage daughter. Very few acts will I consider seeing live. The Foo is one of about three.
Best.Concert.Ever.
These guys are horses. They were on stage for nearly three hours. Great performers. Best 50 bucks I ever spent for entertainment. They know how to please an audience, that's for damn sure.
EDIT: Great to see Pat Smear back in the live lineup
I agree. Best concert I've been to. Got my $25 worth, that's for sure!

I had already marked this day off when I bought the tickets (back in March).
if you would like an audio copy of the show, i found one here:

you have to sign up for an account. it is free though. the quality is pretty good. it kind of sounds the band is in a tunnel and there is a girl close by the taper that screams a lot. it is a nice way to relive the show though.
