When protestors show up at his house, his wife tells them that he no longer lives there and he has moved in with his 25 year-old mistress.
He does serve on the Senate Children, Families and Workforce Development Committee...

Last I checked Clinton didn't divorce his wife for a mistress while the wife was battling cancer. Always found that mildly hypocritical of Newt.
At this point - or any other point in time - how can anyone not realize that Hillary knew all about Monica. And was also participating.
Wake up and smell the coffee!!
Newt on the other hand, went after Billy Bob for enjoying what every man dreams of - a little paired up action. He pursued that whole impeachment thing purely out of jealousy/envy. And we know that envy is one of the bad sins. Whereas two on one between consenting adults? Well, it's a personal thing.

Dude! Mental image. Have some mercy.
Never!
This was and has always been just a quiet little corner of their personal lives. (Can you spell "swinging"??) And the most Puritanical among us are appalled and don't understand what the situation was with them. Newt did. And he was jealous cause he couldn't participate in a similar situation. He chose the wrong woman to marry, so he had to get rid of her. Now he has what he wants, and the group activities can proceed.
I enjoy the "non-serious" news.
Wait a minute! I thought it was us Democrats who had the franchise on sex scandals, relegating Republicans to scandals involving money and abuse of power! When did they decide to cross over onto Democratic turf by co-opting our scandals? It's just not right and it's an illustration of the continuing failure of Republicans regarding innovation and original thinking. They're simply following along in our footsteps, becoming pale imitations of their former selves, almost as if they wanted to be Democrat-lite. They need to invent something fresh and new using some tried-and-true Republican icons. Perhaps they could toss Rush, Michelle Bachman, and Karl Rove into a motel room stocked with booze, 'ludes, hot pizza, razor blades, and a couple of furry animals in order to find something new and different.
Just a thought.

Why should the Democrats have all the fun?
