Title: Tulsa Symphony Orchestra with Quartet San Francisco
Post by: m2violin on January 07, 2011, 02:44:22 PM
The iconic music of Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, the David and Goliath-like triumph of Colas Breugnon, the Billboard chart-topping Blue Tango, and the power and tension of "Danse Bacchanale" from Samson and Delilah make up this program of popular light classic and Broadway favorites.  As if that isn't enough for an unforgettable evening, we are also proud to present the innovative and exciting Quartet San Francisco.

Non-traditional in their delivery, QSF redefines the sound of chamber music.  "When the music says swing, we swing.  When the music says groove, we groove."  Since its concert debut in 2001, the Grammy nominated Quartet San Francisco has offered its exclusive and ground-breaking literature in a variety of venues that include tango and concert halls, jazz festivals, museums, and classrooms all over the world.
