So I guess they were Tea Craters since tea bags hadn't been invented yet.

Just curious what the EPA fine would be for dumping 342 crates of tea into the Boston Harbor these days would be?

The Boston Tea Party lowered the PH of the Harbor causing the marine cutthroat trout to go extinct.  The lower PH also caused the water to retain more heat raising the overall ambient water temperature by .0036 of a degree.  Many consider this the start of Global Warming and the massive climate catastrophe we are in now.  So it follows that the Tea Party (past and present) wants to destroy the world with Global Warming Climate Change Global Climate Disturbance.

How much of a party is it that the only activity is dumping stuff in the water?

I would have added a party theme, maybe karaoke, limbo, even an air guitar contest.

I seem to remember it was a costume party.  I think they dressed as native americans.
