1 year ago today President Obama was awarded the Nobel Prize for something.
Possible reasons for the award:
A. Shutting down GITMO
B. Ending the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
C. Stopping Global Warming
D. Ending American Economic Dominance
Might as well have been an AMA......
What is it with you Chinese being so angry with the Nobel committee?
I'm willing to bet that Julian Assange gets the next one.
President Obama released a statement today congratulating this year's winner, Liu Xiaobo.
One year ago, I was humbled to receive the Nobel Peace Prize -- an award that speaks to our highest aspirations, and that has been claimed by giants of history and courageous advocates who have sacrificed for freedom and justice. Mr. Liu Xiaobo is far more deserving of this award than I was. I regret that Mr. Liu and his wife were denied the opportunity to attend the ceremony that Michelle and I attended last year.
Narcissistic?
Priceless!
You must have a strange definition of narcissism.

Really? I guess I'm old fashioned. Learned all those antiquated principals in college.
Typically when congratulating someone in a in a formal statement or speech:
1. Recognize the honor of the award.
2. Recognize the accomplishment of the recipient.
3. Close with a congratulatory statement, and wishes for continued success.
I will make some notes on this new format:
1. Mention that you won the award previously.
2. Recognize the honor of the award as it relates to you.
3. Mention the recipient.
4. Close by reminding people that you won the award previously.
Got it!
Apparently, you didn't learn that saying someone else is more deserving of something than you are is, by definition, not narcissistic. I guess it's time for you to hit the books again! ;)
