Improve Anywhere does similar stunts, though these folks were pretty good.

Thanks for that, Guido.  It proves that music can still astound and delight us, even when it's something as well-known as the Hallelujah Chorus.

It nearly floored me when I first saw that. No direction and the organ almost drowned out by voices. Deeply moving to me and my family.

Now that sent a tingle up my spine.  Way cool.  The girl who led off was a dead ringer for my daughter.  I had to do a double-take.

Yeah, this is very similar to the missions that Improv Everywhere performs and if you have never heard of them before, I highly suggest you check out there website. Many of their missions are so fun to watch. A great way to waste an afternoon.

Here are some of their "spontaneous musicals": http://improveverywhere.com/missions/spotaneous-musicals/

Some of my favorite missions:

I've always gotten a kick out of these folks, but I really don't think they have talent for singing like this Hallelujah group does.

Awesome.

Improv everywhere rocks.
