The best part was that it was in front of the ou side line.
Here is the best highlite......47 - 41 OU.....
Sometimes it's just better to be lucky than good.
If ever on a scenic tour of Oklahoma and happen to be driving south (or north) on I-35 on north edge of Norman between the 113 and 114 mile markers (south of Indian Hill Road, north of Tecumseh), look to the west and see the newest castle belonging to Oklahoma Royalty. Bob Stoops' "house". Sitting on probably 10 acres+ of prime residential property.
Paraphrasing (channeling?) Gene Simmons; "it's good to be him".

Sometimes I think that's the Arkansas mantra.

And worth every penny. Remember the 90s Sooner Football ?
Yep, I remember. That was not a knock on Stoops. I like the guy a lot - he is so "head and shoulders" above so many of the previous coaches. Switzer and Shellenberger are two that immediately come to mind. One with his culture of corruption and Schellenberger just a lousy coach.
One note about that game; neither team deserved the results they got. But that is the old OSU jinx working its little heart out.
