This will probably make you Palin supporters angry, but I think something is terribly wrong with the way they talk about others. It is mean-spirited and self-centered.
I can give you more examples, but last night on "Dancing with the Stars", the daughter Bristol didn't win. Most regular watchers of the show would agree that she only made it to the final show because of her mother's fame and political fan base. The media usually described her performances as mediocre or poor. Because it is also a popularity show, she was graced with her fans voting for her no matter how poorly she danced. I also think that there was some inside ABC pressure to keep her around for the ratings.
But instead of being gracious and thanking her fans for voting for her week after week, She said on live TV last night, "Going out there and winning this would mean a lot. It would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me."
Stay classy Palins.

Why is that not surprising coming from that obviously homophobic and mean-spirited spawn of the half-term Governor?
I disagree with much of Sarah Palins politics, so what?
What concerns me is that she is just a walking cliche of sound bites. Lipstick on a bit bull. Don't retreat, reload. Etc. etc. etc. If I wanted to just say things to get a certain demographic in my corner it would be an easy task. But where's the beef?
Per her daughter, she's just a kid dragged into this. Dancing with the stars? Her stardom is solely based on the fact that she was too stupid to use birth control as her mother was running for vice president. Throw a random kid into a situation like that and see what pops out... I don't really hold it against the daughter.
However bad her dancing may be. (didn't really watch the show)
Bristol was NO where good enough to be either mediocre OR poor!
Jennifer Gray on the other hand was exceptional. Not quite Rogers and Astair, but very good.

Likely drawing on what she learned in
Dirty Dancing

Kinda what I thought.
The Wife and I watch the show just out of pure enjoyment at how bad a dancing Judge I am. I alway's have a great opinion of how bad or good someone is, and the real Judges are alway's opposite of what I just said.
Every Year they bring in what I call ringers. ie, Brandy and Jennifer this Year. They both have Dancing and performing in their profiles. Mel B was a Spice Girl and they danced all the time. So it was no wonder Jennifer won, and I called it the whole way that she would win. The Wife said Brandy would and so she was mad last week when the voters got it wrong.
Also. Jennifer is one HOT ! Milf, Cougar or whatever you want to say. She looked great.
